Sala is proud to have Peter Mason as part of our English teaching team.
Peter was born and raised in Cairns, Australia. In his free time he enjoys listening to music, playing the guitar, cooking, playing video games and of course, relaxing. Peter has traveled through most of Australia, and both the Kansai and Kanto areas of Japan. He loves it when students learn new vocab and grammar and use them in a conversation with him. Peter greatly appreciates the punctuality of services in Japan. Stop by the new Namba school beginning August 8th and say hi!
Peter said, “If I won the Lotto 6; I would take an extended holiday, make a deposit on a house, upgrade my pc and buy a lot of musical instruments and devices!”

Neil was born and raised in Liverpool, England. In his free time he most enjoys playing with his two year old son. He has traveled through Europe, the U.S. and Indonesia. He speaks Japanese at a beginner level. Neil enjoys living and teaching here in Japan; he said, “There are lots of things to do and it’s never boring!”
Neil said, “If I won the Lotto 6, I would become a philanthropist!”

大仙公園は日本最大の古墳で有名な、仁徳天皇綾の隣にある公園です☆
百舌鳥八幡のふとん太鼓に行ったりと、日本の文化を楽しんでいますね。

This year, they played the Boston Celtics in a classic rival match that dates back to the 1980s with Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.
After going the longest 7 games in this best of 7 series, the L.A. Lakers took the trophy back to Los Angeles.
At SALA, there are many basketball enthusiasts that were biting their nails while watching the NBA finals.
With both East Coast and West Coast represented, it was quite an exciting series to watch.
「７月４日/アメリカ独立記念日」について少しだけご紹介させて頂きます。
アメリカ独立記念日は、１７７６ 年にアメリカ独立宣言が公布されたことを記念して、毎年7月4日にアメリカ合衆国の祝日として定められています。
アメリカでは「独立記念日 （Independence day」と呼ばれることがもっとも一般的ですが、単に「7月4日」 (Fourth of July) とだけ言うことも多いようです。

皆さんご存知の通り、「2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa」がいよいよ6月10日より開幕です！
今回の開催地は南アフリカです。皆さん行ったことありますか？この機会にお金と時間があれば是非行きたいものです。多くの人はテレビでの観戦だと思いますが。。例えばスポーツバーで他の人と一緒に試合を観戦するのも楽しそうですね。
